PRODUCT INTRODUCTION

The laser power sensors portfolio includes Photodiodes, Thermopiles, Fast thermoelectric sensors, and ISO 17025 calibrations. Backed by our commitment to operational excellence and more than 50 years of industry experience, Coherent’s laser power sensors are available in a DB25 format for compatibility with our stand-alone power and energy meters. Many models are also available in USB configurations for direct PC plug and play interfacing, and in RS-232 format for use with an industrial controller.
The complete portfolio includes:

FEATURES

 1. Photodiodes for measuring low power
Thermopiles (single channel and quadrant beam positioning) for measuring power from the mW to kW range
FAST, thermoelectric PowerMax-Pro sensors for sub-second measurement from mW to kW
ISO 17025 accredited calibrations

2. kW PowerMax-Pro Sensor

Kilowatt class power measurement with extended average power handling capability up to 3 kW.

3. PowerMax-Pro Sensor

The newest generation in sensor technology, enhances productivity and quality while improving measurement speed.

4. PowerMax-USB Sensors

Laser Measurement devices providing direct USB 2.0 connection to a PC. Including the new PowerMax BB+ Kilowatt Sensors!

5. PowerMax RS sensors

RS-232 Laser Power Measurement utilizing the same circuitry in our PowerMax-USB sensors. Including the new PowerMax BB+ Kilowatt sensors.

6. PowerMax-Pro USB/RS Sensors

LabMax-Pro instrumentation incorporated directly within the sensor cable. Offers a smaller form factor for use inside laser processing systems or production lines.

7. PowerMax-Pro 15mm OEM Sensors

OEM laser power sensor with large active area, fast response, and high power capacity. Offering advantages over the semiconductor detectors commonly used for continuous inline monitoring applications, it is available as an unassembled OEM detector as well as a fully assembled and calibrated “developer’s kit” sensor.

8. Standard Sensors – Laser Power

A diverse portfolio of nearly 100 different standard laser power sensors over a broad range of laser output characteristics.
